Amazon employees at a Staten Island facility rejected to form a union Monday by a 618-380 vote. The result is a loss for the Amazon Labor Union, which last month helped a group of warehouse workers at a separate nearby Staten Island warehouse vote to form a union for the first time in Amazon’s history. The facility that voted against unionizing is smaller and includes a higher proportion of part-time workers compared to the other Staten Island warehouse, The New York Times reported.

No matter the outcome of the election, workers are uniting for change at LDJ5, JFK8 & around the world. Mega-corporations continue to spend millions in union-busting + fear tactics & we continue to organize for a society not based on exploitation & greed. #UnionStrong
